Unfortunately for him and the people of the little town, they don't believe him. Soon after this, the drunk, Lem Sawyer, is found dying with sucker marks on his body, and people begin to disappear... Liz Walker and Cal Moulton, in a desperate affair, are forced into the water by Liz's husband Dave. Two of the giant creatures Lem was talking about emerge from the murky waters and take Liz and Cal. Police begin to suspect dave of the disappearance, but people continue to disappear in a bizarre tale of deceit and mystery.
